afexsaRx ("the App", "we", "our", "us") is a pharmacy / retail management app developed for business owners to manage products, stock, customers, suppliers, invoices, expenses, and accounts. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your choices regarding that information.
By downloading, installing, or using afexsaRx, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
When you create an account, we collect:
Email address
Password (stored securely and encrypted; we never see your plain-text password)
To personalize invoices and reports, you may provide:
Full name
Phone number
Business name, business address, business phone number
License number
Profile / business photo (optional, via camera or photo gallery)
As you use the App, it stores the data you create in order to run your business, including:
Products (name, barcode, price, stock, batch/expiry details, supplier)
Customers and suppliers (name, phone, email, address, balances)
Invoices, purchases, quotations, and returns
Expenses and account transactions (cash, bank, wallet entries)
Stock movement history
This data is entered directly by you (the account holder) and belongs to you. We do not generate or infer any of it independently.
The App requests camera access solely to scan product barcodes. It may also request photo library access so you can attach a picture to a product or your profile. We do not access your camera or photos for any other purpose, and images are only uploaded if you choose to attach them.
To keep the offline-sync feature working, the App stores data locally on your device (SQLite database) and checks your internet connection status to sync with our cloud database when available. We do not collect device identifiers for advertising purposes.
The App uses local, on-device notifications (not push notifications from a server) to remind you about low stock or expiring products. These notifications are generated entirely on your device based on your own data.
We do not show advertisements.
We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
We do not access your contacts, SMS, call logs, or location.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or business data to third parties.
We use the information collected only to:
Create and manage your account
Provide offline-first storage and cloud sync of your business data across your devices
Generate invoices, reports, and reminders (low stock / expiry alerts)
Maintain the security of your account (e.g., ensuring only you can access your data)
Respond to support requests
Your data is stored locally on your device and synced to our secure cloud database (Supabase), which uses Row Level Security — meaning only your own logged-in account can ever read or write your data.
Data is transmitted using encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or loss. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We do not share your personal or business data with third parties, except:
With Supabase, our backend/database service provider, solely to store and sync your data on our behalf (acting as a data processor).
If required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.
Your data is retained as long as you maintain an active account.
You may delete individual records (products, customers, invoices, etc.) at any time from within the App.
You may request full deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email below. We will delete your data within a reasonable time, except where retention is required by law.
afexsaRx is a business/inventory management tool intended for business owners and staff. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct or update your data
Request deletion of your data
Withdraw consent at any time (by deleting your account)
