The Pantry is located in the basement of the Deerfield Community Church and is operated completely by volunteers. Food, enough for about a week, is given out once monthly. Clients choose the bread/pastry that they want along with selecting fresh fruit and vegetables. They are given a bag of meat/chicken/fish, bags of staples (cereal, pasta, tuna, soup, peanut butter, paper goods, etc.), and fresh milk.
Applying to receive food is simple. If you already receive fuel assistance, food stamps, housing assistance, etc. you are qualified. You can also apply based upon your income. You may call Faith at 603-463-7800 with questions or to discuss the pantry. Your call is confidential.
