This is the webpage for the 'Derivatives in Logic and Learning' bonus workshop.

Where/when:

Wytham Abbey, 13-14 November 2023.

Motivation:

What is the derivative of an algorithm? What does it compute? How does it emerge naturally? Does the learning process of an algorithm reflect its structure?

This workshop will be an extended brain-storming session where we intend to discuss these questions.

We want to provide an opportunity and an environment for a small number of people to come together and discuss their own personal questions and points of view. There will be a few informal talks, but the focus will be on discussion, conversation, and collaboration.

Funding:

Accommodation will be provided at Wytham Abbey, as well as food and refreshments. We are not able to offer funding for travel.
