AFA covers all travel costs to the August Student Leader Meeting, Leaders Conference and partner visits. As an AFA Ambassador, your travel is not covered for attending AFA Leader Institutes as delegates.

Travel request forms are due 30 days prior to the expected travel date. If you do not submit a travel request form on time, you may be subject to additional travel fees.
You MUST submit a travel request form if you are flying or driving.
Meals during travel may be expensed up to $15 per meal.
AFA does not cover additional baggage fees EXCEPT for AFA Leaders Conference travel.

When parking a car at the airport we ask that you select the most economical option. AFA has the right to challenge any expenses submitted for reimbursement. And if for any reason we suspect that an economical option was not considered, those expenses may not be reimbursed.

Our goals when booking travel are to be good stewards of our dollars and to ensure travel for our students is safe and timely. If for any reason you need to submit a special travel request, that MUST be done in the travel request form. This will help eliminate change fees or monies lost for booking incorrect travel. Please note that we do our best to be accommodating, however, we will not make special travel arrangements solely based on convenience or personal preference.
