Ambala Foundation ("we", "our", or "us"), developed by Ambala IT, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information through the Ambala Foundation mobile application (the "App").

Who Can Use This App

The Ambala Foundation App is exclusively for registered members of the Ambala Foundation in Bangladesh. It is not available for public or general use. To access the app, users must register with their verified phone number linked to their Ambala Foundation membership.

Information We Collect

We collect the following personal data:

• Phone Number – used for account registration and authentication.

• Password – stored securely for login and access verification.

• Selfie/Image – required during emergency loan applications.

• Location (Approximate) – used only during emergency loan requests.
  
  

We do not collect any other personal information beyond what is stated above.

Device Permissions

The App requires the following permissions:

• Camera: To capture selfies for emergency loan applications and user profile photo updates.

• Location: To collect approximate location when submitting an emergency loan application.

• Storage/Media Access: To allow users to upload a profile picture using the device's gallery.

How We Use Your Information

Your data is used strictly for:

• Authenticating and securing your account

• Managing your loan and savings profile

• Processing emergency loan applications

• Displaying your financial transaction history

• Enabling profile management and account settings

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or analytics purposes.

Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not share your personal data with any third parties.
The App also does not use third-party services such as analytics or advertising SDKs.

Account Deletion

You have the right to delete or request that We assist in deleting the Personal Data that We have collected about You.

Our Service may give You the ability to delete certain information about You from within the Service.

You may update, amend, or delete Your information at any time by signing in to Your Account, if you have one, and visiting the account settings section that allows you to manage Your personal information. You may also contact Us to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that You have provided to Us.

Deleting your app account will remove your access to the app. However, this does not affect your financial records (e.g., loans, savings) with Ambala Foundation.

Children’s Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to remove that information from Our servers.

If We need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing Your information and Your country requires consent from a parent, We may require Your parent's consent before We collect and use that information.

Disclosure of Your Personal Data

Business Transactions

If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, Your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before Your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.
