Pastor Nathan Klahsen
Nathan Klahsen has served in pastoral ministry since 2007, beginning in youth and family ministry before stepping into broader leadership roles. In 2018, the Lord called Nathan to Knollwood Baptist Church, where he now serves as Lead Pastor.
Nathan is passionate about expository preaching, gospel clarity, and helping the local church grow in spiritual maturity. His desire is to faithfully preach Christ and equip believers to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.
Nathan has been married to his wife Stephanie since 2006, and together they have three children. He counts it a privilege to shepherd the people of Knollwood Baptist Church and looks forward to joining us for this year’s retreat!

Bonnechere Baptist Camp
Bonnechere Baptist Camp is owned and supported by First Baptist Church in Arnprior and Calvary Baptist Church in Killaloe which both are aligned with the North American Baptist (NAB) Denomination. The beliefs and teachings of Bonnechere Baptist Camp reflect those of NAB.
The camp is located in the beautiful northern area of Round Lake. Located in Renfrew Country, the lake boasts beautiful views, clear water, and beaches.

Co-organizers
As co-organizers of this retreat, we share a passion for fostering unity and brotherhood among believers. We recognized that this was lacking for many young Christian men, and we want to change that.
We have a heartfelt desire to see this generation of men live out their faith boldly, and we are committed to creating a welcoming and impactful experience that will lay the foundation for deeper connections. Our goal is that our brothers in Christ return from this retreat refreshed, encouraged, and ignited in their drive to be Godly men!
About Jacob
I am a member of Pineland Baptist Church where I grew up attending as a child. Younglife is another ministry I am passionate about and I served there for 10 years. I live with my beautiful wife Mckenzie in Stoney creek. I am a firefighter and have been working as one for the last 6 years.
About Ben
I'm also a member at Pineland Baptist Church, where I've attended with my family for many years. I live in Burlington, Ontario, and currently work for a software consultancy in Waterloo (called Vehikl) as an Operations Specialist. This summer I’ll be marrying my fiancée, Bri!
