I am currently a visiting academic at the University of Manchester, with interests in the general area of geometric and combinatorial group theory.
I was previously a Heilbronn Fellow in Mathematics at the University of Manchester, a Research Associate at Heriot-Watt University, a Junior Research Fellow at the Erwin Schrödinger Institute at the University of Vienna, and an LMS Early Career Research Fellow at Newcastle University. I got my PhD from Heriot-Watt University in 2020, where I was supervised by Laura Ciobanu.
My research interests are in Geometric and Combinatorial Group Theory, including but not limited to word growth, conjugacy growth, equations, power series, virtually abelian groups, nilpotent groups, formal languages and automata, decision problems, model theory of groups.
