Prof. Kiran Bala has been selected as a member of The National Academy of Sciences, India in 2024.
Mr. Dinesh Parida received DAAD Research Grants - Bi-nationally Supervised Doctoral Degrees to pursue research and training at Leibniz University Hannover (Germany) from 1st October 2024 to 30th September 2025.
Rimjhim Sangtani received International travel support (ITS) from SERB, Govt. of India and to present poster in Algal biomass, biofuels & bioproducts (Agal BBB) conference from 10–12 June 2024, at the Hilton Clearwater Beach, Florida, USA.
- Ms. Kanchan Samadhiya defended her PhD thesis titled "Indigenous Microbes for Sustainable Biopolymer Synthesis: A Comprehensive Optimization and Characterization Study" successfully.
- Ms. Palak Saket won 3rd prize in "Saransh" -a 3-minutes thesis competition organized by INYAS.
- Mr. Suchit Deshmukh defended his PhD Thesis titled "Microalgae Biomass Cultivation for Production and Quality Testing of Biodiesel'' successfully.
Ms. Swagata Lakshmi Dhali received mobility grant from IIT Indore International relations under the Student Exchange Program scheme to visit and conduct research work at Leibniz University Hannover from February- May, 2024.
- Ms. Palak Saket & Ms. Rimjhim Sangtani were conferred "Best Poster Award" in their respective thematic groups in the VIII International Conference on Sustainable Energy and Environmental Challenges (4th-6th December 2023) organized by MNIT, Jaipur.
- Prof. Kiran Bala delivered a keynote lecture, titled ''Outlook to Delineate the Impacts of Environmental Perturbations on Microalgae'' in the VIII International Conference on Sustainable Energy and Environmental Challenges (4th-6th December 2023) organized by MNIT, Jaipur Under the auspices of International Society for Energy, Environment and Sustainability (ISEES).
- Ms. Kanchan travelled to Leibniz University Hannover for research work after receiving SING (Small Immediate Need Grants) from Indo German Science & Technology Centre (IGSTC).
- Mr. Dinesh received financial support from DAAD funded IITI-LUH joint project "A new passage to India" to travel Leibniz University Hannover for research work.
- Our lab hosted 5 students (3 MSc. & 2 PhD Scholars) across India under the Vritika Intership Scheme funded by SERB, Govt. of India for 1 Month (June, 2023).

- Dr. Bikash Kumar is awarded Young scientist Award 2022 from Association of Microbiologist in India at 63rd Annual Conference of Association of Microbiologist at Maharshi Dayanand University Rohtak In recognition for his outstanding contribution in the field of Industrial Microbiology.
- Our lab successfully conducted a 6 days active learning & hands on workshop on "Microbial biomass and bio-products characterization using high end instruments" under the scheme of KARYASHALA by SERB, Govt. of India from 12th-17th December, 2022.

- Mr. Rahul Chauhan received three years scholarship from EPCO (Environmental Planning and Coordination Organization) as a part of the Ph.D. Scholarship Programme on Climate Change 2020.
- Mr. Mrinal Kashyap received "Sandwich VATA Fellowship" at Porter School of Environmental and Earth Sciences, Tel Aviv University, Israel for 1 year from Dec-2020 to Dec-2021.
- Dr. Anand Krishna joined our Group under the "Teachers Associateship for Research Excellence (TARE)" Scheme with financial assistance from SERB 2020.
- Dr. Kiran Bala visited Leibniz University Hannover, Germany from November 17 -22, 2019 under DAAD Mobility program.
- Ms. Atreyee Ghosh received financial support for the Exchange Visitor Program under the category of Student Intern at Oregon State University, Corvallis Oregon, USA for the period of 8 weeks from 1st August 2019 to 30th September 2019.
