Aetolia-MUN is a student-organized, two-day conference held in Mesolonghi at the 4-5 of October 2025 in the Mesolonghi Art School. Offering a unique experience for students and giving them the opportunity to explore the world of the United Nations through diplomacy and debate. As one of the pioneers of MUN conferences in the Etoloakarnania region and the first-ever conference in Mesolonghi, we guarantee that you will have an amazing time, meet new people, and experience the MUN journey to the fullest!

Messolonghi is a historic town in western Greece, known for its rich cultural heritage and natural beauty. Located on the shores of the Messolonghi Lagoon, it has played a significant role in Greek history, especially during the Greek War of Independence. The town is famous for the heroic "Exodus of Messolonghi" in 1826, when its defenders, after a prolonged siege by Ottoman forces, made a desperate and tragic attempt to escape, symbolizing the struggle for freedom. Today, Messolonghi is also known for its wetlands, which are a haven for migratory birds, and its unique local cuisine.
