This Privacy Policy explains how aethersx2 Emulator
 ("we", "our", or "the App") handles information when you use our mobile application on iOS and Android platforms.
Summary: aethersx2 Emulator is built with privacy in mind. We do not require account registration, we do not host media streams, and we do not store or monitor your personal playlist credentials or viewing activity on our servers.
We do not collect or store personal identifying information such as:
Your real name, postal address, or telephone number.
Your IP address on developer-owned servers.
Browsing history or media viewing logs.
The App operates as a client-side media player and sports data aggregator:
Playlists and Xtream Credentials: When you input Xtream Codes API credentials (server URL, username, password) or load M3U playlist URLs or files, this information is stored exclusively on your local device via encrypted device storage (NSUserDefaults / SharedPreferences). This information is sent directly to your specified media server and is never relayed through or stored on our servers.
Favorites & Settings: Your saved favorite channels, player preferences (aspect ratio, audio tracks, subtitles), and UI configurations are stored locally on your device only.
The App utilizes trusted third-party services to deliver core functionality, advertisements, and subscriptions:
Sports Scores & Match Data: Public sports metadata endpoints are accessed to provide live soccer fixtures, standings, and match information. No personal user data is transmitted during these requests.
In-App Purchases & Subscriptions (Apple App Store / RevenueCat): Subscription purchases and payments are processed directly by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not store or have access to your credit card or financial details. We use receipt validation services to securely verify your active subscription status.
Advertising (Google Mobile Ads / AdMob): For non-subscribed users, the App may display ads served by Google AdMob. Google AdMob may collect and process device identifiers, advertising identifiers (such as IDFA where permitted), and app diagnostic metrics in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can adjust your ad tracking preferences in your device system settings.
In compliance with Apple's Privacy Manifest requirements:
The App does not engage in cross-app tracking.
The App accesses standard device APIs strictly for required reasons (persisting local user preferences via UserDefaults and caching local playlist file timestamps).
Our application is not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:
Access, manage, or delete your local data at any time by clearing the application cache or uninstalling the app.
Manage or cancel active auto-renewing subscriptions at any time via your Apple App Store Account Settings.
Limit ad tracking via your iOS device settings (Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking).
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Any updates will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the application following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
