About Applied Science Cluster:
The Applied Science Cluster is dedicated to imparting comprehensive knowledge of fundamental principles across disciplines, fostering an in-depth understanding of science to enrich students' overall learning experience. Established to equip engineering students with essential concepts in basic sciences, the cluster launched undergraduate programs, including B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry in 2018, followed by postgraduate programs in 2019. Furthermore, Ph.D. programs were introduced to cultivate high-caliber researchers in diverse areas of fundamental and applied sciences. The cluster comprises distinguished researchers and faculty members with expertise spanning various fields of science and technology. Over the years, we have successfully executed numerous research and consultancy projects funded by both national and international organizations. Recently, the cluster has been awarded a prestigious FIST grant of ₹ 2 Crore for the procurement of the NMR facility. The cluster is equipped with state-of-the-art student labs and advanced research instruments providing an industry-ready learning experience. Collaborations with global partners in Germany, Japan, Slovenia, Switzerland, the US, and others facilitate a broader, global perspective for students engaged in research activities.
