The Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI), a professional society to promote the growth of Aeronautics in India formed the CFD division on August 11, 1998. This division serves as a formal setup for overseeing and coordinating conferences, colloquia, symposia and other technical meetings with a view of promoting research and development in industrial, academic and commercial areas of CFD.
The Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI), a professional society to promote the growth of Aeronautics in India formed the CFD division on August 11, 1998. This division serves as a formal setup for overseeing and coordinating conferences, colloquia, symposia and other technical meetings with a view of promoting research and development in industrial, academic and commercial areas of CFD.
The CFD division organizes a CFD symposium every year on its foundation day. The 23rd Annual Symposium was held on 11th & 12th of August 2022. The 2022 edition of CFD symposium received an overwhelming responses and received more than 100 contributed papers from India in the topics related to Computational Fluid Dynamics out of which selected papers were presented at the event. The event was held at Hotel Royal Orchid, Bangalore, India. The event managed to bring together the CFD community for a technical interaction after a relatively long time. The organisers thank all the related students, CFD practitioners, Industry experts and enthusiasts and related people for making this event a grand success. The organisers welcome everyone for the 25th year Silver Jubilee Convention scheduled on 11 Aug 2023 at Bangalore, India.
