EAA Airventure Oshkosh
Oshkosh is the largest airshow in the United States. It takes place annually at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh Wisconsin. Typically, there are about 10,000 planes that arrive at Oshkosh in a span of seven days. The airshow itself also lasts for seven straight days. During the fly-in period at Oshkosh, the ATC frequency becomes the busiest in the world. Oshkosh truly is a great place to witness the historical and modern wonders of aviation.

National Museum of WWII Aviation
The National Museum of WWII Aviation is located in Colorado Springs. It is a massive collection of some of the finest warbirds of the Second World War. The museum opened to the public in 2012, and since then has been dedicated to teaching the public about the technological advancements of planes during WWII and the brave men and women who flew these beasts of war. One major boast of this museum is that they currently have 28 working WWII aircraft. A nearly unprecedented number for today's age. Unfortunately, this museum receives no federal funding and relies on the donations and visits of cadets like you to stay financially afloat. So I encourage all reading this to please check out this wonderful museum. You won't regret it.
The Smithsonian Aerospace Museum
This Museum is the world's largest collection of diverse forms of aerospace ranging from balloons and gliders to rockets and jets. Located in Washington DC, this is quite an incredible aerospace experience. Down below is their website link.

Wings Over the Rockies
The Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum is one of the largest aerospace museums in the state of Colorado. Located in a preserved hanger from what used to be Lowry AFB, this museum allows you to learn about many historical military aircraft and space vehicles and see them up close. This museum does a great job of teaching aerospace topics in an interactive and fun way. Did I mention they have awesome flight simulators as well?
Blue Sky Aviation Gallery
The Boeing Blue Sky Aviation Gallery is a second Wings Over the Rockies location. It is located right up against runway 28 at Centennial airport. And this museum focuses more on the history of civilian planes. Another great opportunity to see planes up close. They also have Fly-in breakfast events every month. Where pilots fly in, park at the museum, and get some breakfast while civilians go up and down the tarmac seeing all of these pilot's wonderful planes!
