Hi, I’m Shea Todd, founder and CEO of Aerokids of NC.
As a respiratory therapist working directly with children and families across North Carolina, I witnessed firsthand the growing need for better asthma education, support, and access to resources. Too many families were leaving appointments overwhelmed, confused about medications, or unsure how to manage asthma at home. I created Aerokids of NC to help bridge that gap.
Aerokids of NC was founded with one mission in mind: improving pediatric asthma outcomes through education. Our goal is to empower children, caregivers, schools, and healthcare providers with the knowledge and tools needed to better understand asthma, reduce preventable flare-ups, and improve quality of life.
We believe education is one of the most powerful tools in healthcare. Through personalized asthma education, inhaler and spacer training, trigger identification, action plan support, and ongoing guidance, we strive to help families feel confident managing asthma every day.
As both a healthcare professional and advocate for pediatric respiratory health, I am passionate about creating healthier futures for children throughout our communities.
