Getting Started
AeroFlap transforms your iPhone or iPad into a beautiful split-flap display board. When you first open the app, you will see the clock and weather displayed on the board. Tap anywhere on the screen to reveal the controls.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I change the display mode?
Tap the screen to show the controls bar at the top. You can switch between Clock, Weather, Timer, Message, and AI modes.
How do I customize the board appearance?
Tap the gear icon to open Settings. You can change the board skin, font style, animation speed, clock format, and more.
Why is the weather not showing?
AeroFlap needs location access to display local weather. Please ensure you have granted location permission in your device Settings under Privacy & Security > Location Services > AeroFlap.
How do I create a custom message?
Tap the screen to show controls, then select the Message icon. Tap the + button to create a new message. You can also schedule messages to display at specific times.
How do I use the Color Show?
Tap the palette icon in the controls bar to start the Color Show. The board will cycle through colorful patterns including AI-generated designs. Tap the icon again to stop.
How do I change the language?
Go to Settings and scroll to the Language section. AeroFlap supports English, Spanish, Russian, and Japanese.
The board looks different on my iPad.
AeroFlap automatically expands the board to fill the iPad screen with additional rows for a more immersive departure-board experience.
Troubleshooting
If the app is not working as expected, try the following steps:
1. Close and reopen the app.
2. Ensure you have an active internet connection for weather and AI features.
3. Check that location permissions are enabled for accurate weather data.
4. Restart your device if issues persist.
