Is AerialScore free?
Yes — AerialScore is completely free to download and use. All scoring, flight guides, test lane images, session management, and PDF export features are available at no cost. A voluntary annual supporter subscription is available for users who wish to support the app's development but is never required.

Does the app require an internet connection?
No. AerialScore is designed to work fully offline. All features including scoring, flight guides, test lane images, and PDF generation work without any internet connection — ideal for remote field sites and indoor test facilities with limited cell coverage.

What NIST test levels does AerialScore support?
AerialScore supports all NIST Standard Test Method levels — Level 1 through Level 5 — across all test lane layouts including Position, Traverse, Orbit, Inspect, Recon, Perch, Post, Alley, Ground, Wall, and Confined Linear.

How do I restore my subscription on a new device?
Open AerialScore and go to Settings → Support AerialScore → Restore Subscription. Sign in with the same Apple ID or Google account used when you originally subscribed and your supporter status will be restored automatically.

How do I transfer my settings to a new device?
Go to Settings → PDF and Backup Options → Export Settings Backup. Save the file to your cloud storage or email it to yourself. On your new device go to Settings → PDF and Backup Options → Import Settings Backup and select the file.

How do I add my agency logo to PDF scorecards?
Go to Settings → Proctor Profile and tap the agency logo field. Select a PNG or JPG image from your photo library. The logo will appear in the top-right corner of all generated PDF scorecards.

Can multiple proctors use AerialScore?
Yes. Each proctor sets up their own Proctor Profile in Settings with their name, certification number, site location, and agency logo. Settings can be exported and imported to quickly configure the app on additional devices.

What does the flight guide show?
Flight guides are animated step-by-step visualizations of the exact flight path for each NIST test type. They help proctors verify correct drone positioning and brief pilots before each evaluation. Access them from the session card menu or from within an active scoresheet.

How do I view a pilot's testing history?
From the Home Screen tap the ⋮ menu on any session card and select Pilot History. This shows all previous sessions for that pilot including alignment and acuity trend charts, section scores, lap times, and pass/fail records.

My PDF is not generating — what should I do?
Make sure all alignment scores are filled in before exporting. The app will warn you if any scores are missing. If the issue persists try closing and reopening the app and attempting the export again. If the problem continues email support@aerialready.com with your device model and iOS/Android version, and a brief description of the problem.

Is AerialScore affiliated with NIST?
No. AerialScore is an independent application developed by Ricardo Fox. AerialScore is not affiliated with or endorsed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). NIST Standard Test Methods are publicly available documents used as a scoring reference framework.
