Core App Functionality:
Generating and displaying test scorecards
Calculating pass/fail results based on your configured thresholds
Producing PDF reports of completed test sessions
Pre-filling intake forms with saved default values
PDF Export and Sharing:
Proctor information and agency logo are included on exported PDF scorecards at your direction
Pilot information is included on exported PDF scorecards at your direction
PDFs are generated locally on your device and shared only when you explicitly choose to share or email them
Settings Backup:
When you use the Export Settings Backup feature your settings are saved as a local JSON file on your device and shared only through the standard device share sheet at your direction
Subscription Management:
Subscription status is verified through RevenueCat to determine access to Pro features
No payment information is processed or stored by AerialScore directly
4.1 Local Storage
All test session data, proctor profiles, pilot information, and scorecard data are stored locally on your device only using:
Android: Room database (SQLite)
iOS: SwiftData or CoreData
We do not operate servers that store your test data. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export or share it.
4.2 Settings Backup Files
When you export a settings backup the resulting JSON file is saved to your device's local storage and shared through your device's standard share sheet. You control where this file goes — we do not receive a copy.
4.3 Agency Logo
Agency logos uploaded through Proctor Settings are saved to your device's local internal storage. They are included in exported PDFs at your direction. We do not upload logos to any server.
4.4 Security Measures
We implement the following security measures:
All data is stored in the app's private sandboxed storage on your device
The app does not require or use an internet connection for core functionality
Release builds use code obfuscation (Android R8/ProGuard) to protect app integrity
No sensitive data is transmitted over unencrypted connections
AerialScore uses the following third-party services:
5.1 RevenueCat
RevenueCat is used to manage in-app subscriptions and Pro entitlement verification.
What RevenueCat receives:
An anonymous app user identifier
Purchase and subscription status
App version and platform information
What RevenueCat does NOT receive:
Your name, proctor information, or pilot data
Test session data or scorecard information
Any personally identifiable information beyond what Apple or Google provides as part of the purchase transaction
RevenueCat's Privacy Policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
5.2 Apple App Store and Google Play Store
Subscription purchases and payment processing are handled entirely by Apple (iOS) and Google (Android). AerialScore does not process, store, or have access to your payment card information.
Apple Privacy Policy: https://www.apple.com/privacy Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
5.3 Feedback Form
The Send Feedback feature opens a Google Form in your device's web browser. If you choose to submit feedback through this form it is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. Submitting feedback is entirely optional. The form may collect your email address if you choose to provide it for follow-up responses.
Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.
We may disclose information only in the following limited circumstances:
At your direction: When you choose to export a PDF, share a settings backup, or send test results via email the data goes to the recipient you choose
Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or governmental authority we may be compelled to disclose information — however since all data is stored locally on your device we generally do not have access to your test data
Business transfer: In the unlikely event of an acquisition or merger of the Developer's business, user information policies would be disclosed to prospective parties under confidentiality agreements
7.1 Your Control Over Your Data
You have full control over all data stored in AerialScore:
Delete individual sessions: Use the ⋮ menu on any session card on the Home Screen to delete that session and all associated data
Clear intake defaults: Proctor Settings → Clear Intake Defaults removes all saved default values
Remove agency logo: Proctor Settings → Agency Logo → Remove Logo deletes the logo from device storage
Uninstall the app: Uninstalling AerialScore removes all locally stored data from your device permanently
7.2 No Cloud Backup by Developer
Since all data is stored locally we do not maintain cloud backups of your test data. If you delete the app or lose your device without a settings backup the data cannot be recovered by us.
AerialScore is designed exclusively for use by certified adult professionals — specifically RTC-certified proctors conducting NIST UAS evaluations. The application is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
