Using 3D point cloud data of the Kirishima Jingu shrine, a national treasure, visitors can virtually walk from the torii gate to the shrine pavilions and view the inside of the shrine pavilions.
A 3 m high portable shrine was scanned before it was demolished, and displayed floating in the air such that it can be freely manipulated. The mikoshi is created by the sculpture, tip, sound ring, instrumental and wind music team that won the President's Prize and the Kanda Myojin Prize at the 2023 Tokyo University of the Arts' Arts Festival.
