Simulation of Antennas may require complex 3-D modeling, which could be a time consuming and arduous task. Our goal was to develop a process of designing 3-D structures in Ansys HFSS using automated and time-efficient method by creating a tool-set to do so.
We are primarily focused on designing Origami models due to the challenges with it's structural complexity and inability to clearly visualie in 3D sense.
Our tool-set provides great opportunities for implementation of evolutionary optimization methods by time-efficient antenna design in Ansys HFSS.
Also, we are working on the automated drawing of metal traces on any Origami object, which will enable quicker simulation of Origami antennas in HFSS.
