Department of Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering Department
The post/under graduate program in AEIE started in the year 2006/2001 respectively and today it is one of the best academic centres to carryout master's degree on AEIE in Eastern India as it is the only one with both PG and UG courses in AEIE that has got accreditation by NBA. In this 13year journey, the AEIE dept. has always been dynamic at work to keep the curriculum at par with the present industry standards and as a result the passes out students are placed in reputed organisations. The department has been privileged enough to be awarded with some of the best in class facilities. The faculty research spans in vast domains like Micro sensors, Embedded Systems, Signal processing, Machine Learning, AI, Intelligent Control systems, IoT and may more cutting edge technologies. We feel proud to see our PG alumnus getting exposure to work at RRCAT, Indore; IISc., Bangalore; CISO, Chandigarh and SCL, ISRO.
VISION
- To develop skilled Electronics and Instrumentation Engineers by providing learning ambience for academics & research leading to global competence with high academic credentials and to make the department recognized by the industries and teaching community.
MISSION
- To prepare the students competent in the field of sensors, measurement, instrumentation, control, automations, signal processing, communication and computational techniques, etc. which are essential for industries, research organizations or higher studies.
- To imbibe curiosity to students through industry-department interaction programs, workshops, seminars leading to better awareness about latest technology, research trends and to provide the students educational pathways for optional career choices.
- To motivate the students towards lifelong learning and towards betterment of society by imparting practical skills.
