Nerd Nite is a global organization that aims to educate the public through fun and relaxed presentations on a myriad of scientific topics. I had the pleasure of presenting at the March gathering of the Des Moines chapter of Nerd Nite. The evening's talks covered sounds, sight, and taste. As the resident sight "expert", I gave a presentation titled “The power of animal vision: A bird’s eye view". A big thank you to the Nerd Nite - Des Moines organizers for the invitation!
