Universal Terms of Service

Welcome to Aegis Chat. By downloading, accessing, or using Aegis Chat, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not install or use the application.

1. Acceptance of Terms & Universal Eligibility

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and GS Mobile Solutions ("Publisher", "we", "us"). You must be at least 13 years old (or the applicable minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use Aegis Chat. By using the app, you represent that you meet these age and eligibility requirements.

2. Description of Service

Aegis Chat provides peer-to-peer real-time text messaging, voice calls, and video calls utilizing WebRTC technology. The app operates on a zero-knowledge, decentralized architecture without requiring account registration, phone numbers, or central user data logging.

3. Prohibited Conduct & User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your conduct and communications while using Aegis Chat. You explicitly agree NOT to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Using the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of local, national, or international laws.

• Transmitting content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or hateful.

• Distributing malicious code, viruses, spyware, or attempting unauthorized access to other devices or network infrastructure.

• Impersonating any person or entity, or falsely representing your affiliation with a person or entity.

4. Peer-to-Peer Operations & Zero Server Data Storage

Because Aegis Chat operates on a direct peer-to-peer basis without central message storage or user profile databases, you acknowledge and agree that GS Mobile Solutions does not possess or store your conversation records or communications. You are responsible for maintaining the physical security of your device and managing your local auto-deletion settings.

5. In-App Subscriptions & Billing Terms

Aegis Chat offers optional premium features (such as HD video call passes).

• All purchases are processed via official app store merchant systems (Google Play Console and Indus Appstore).

• Pricing, billing intervals, and subscription renewals are governed by the respective store policies.

• Valid promotional pass codes redeemed inside the application unlock feature access in accordance with promo terms.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All rights, title, and interest in and to Aegis Chat (including software code, branding, visual design, logos, and trademarks) remain the exclusive property of GS Mobile Solutions. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

AEGIS CHAT IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF NETWORK DISRUPTIONS.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GS MOBILE SOLUTIONS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNISHABLE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE AEGIS CHAT.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable governing laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal disputes shall be brought before the competent jurisdiction handling publisher operations for GS Mobile Solutions.
