Interns will gain quality experience and receive a certificate of completion and optional volunteer hours. We also set up our interns with our partners for opportunities, publishing writing, interning/campaigning with their representatives, and one on one career building guidance.
Interns may request a letter of recommendation after completing 2 sessions.
Our upcoming sessions are from June-August 2026 and June-August 2027.
Journalism Internship

Will learn how to write as a journalist through lessons, and newsletter/newspaper section responsibilities that will be published on behalf of Advocating Together.
Commitment includes two zoom meetings per month, and independent assignments.

Podcasting Internship
Will learn how to write podcast scripts through lessons, and writing podcast scripts to produce the podcast "We The Advocates" published on behalf of Advocating Together.
