For Classes that have NOT yet started
In the event of adverse weather conditions such as a Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No.8 or above, or a Black Rainstorm Warning Signal, or when the Hong Kong Government has made the “extreme conditions” announcement:
- Morning Classes (start before 2pm): will be cancelled if the warning is issued at or after 7am
- Afternoon Classes (start between 2pm and 6pm): will be cancelled if the warning is issued at or after 11am
- Evening Classes (start from 6pm): will be cancelled if the warning is issued at or after 3pm
Please note the 15/F and 10/F of the Hong Kong Arts Centre, and Hong Kong Art School Campuses will be closed during these class suspension times.
For Classes that have already started
When Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No.8 or above is hoisted
Classes will immediately suspend.
When Black Rainstorm Warning is in force
Classes will continue*
*All outdoor activities will be suspended immediately. All teaching staff and students should stay in a safe place.
We will endeavour to arrange make-up classes for cancelled sessions due to the above-outlined conditions, but cannot guarantee suitability for all participants. Students will be notified of the arrangements.
Please note that no refunds or compensation will be provided if a student is unable to attend the rescheduled class.
課堂開始前
如遇8號或以上熱帶氣旋警告信號，或黑色暴雨警告信號，或香港政府宣布「極端情況」時，課堂將按以下安排：
- 上午課堂（下午2時前開始）：如上午7時或之後發出警告，課堂將被取消。
- 下午課堂（下午2時至6時間開始）：如上午11時或之後發出警告，課堂將被取消。
- 晚間課堂（下午6時後開始）：如下午3時或之後發出警告，課堂將被取消。
請注意，香港藝術中心15樓及10樓，以及香港藝術學院校舍會於上述停課時間內暫停開放。
已開始之課堂
當8號或以上熱帶氣旋警告信號懸掛時
課堂立即終止
當黑色暴雨警告生效時
課堂繼續進行*
*所有戶外活動須立即停止，老師及學員應立刻到安全地方暫避。
我們會盡力為上述影響情況而取消的課堂安排補堂，並會另向學員公佈詳情，但不能保證適合所有學員的需求。
請注意，如果學員無法出席補堂，本中心將不提供退款或賠償。
