What do i bring?

Not much, remember our trips are all inclusive. We do suggest you bring appropriate clothing to fit the season and medicines for high altitude.

What documents do i need to prepare?

Boarding flight and train to Tibet is strict for all foreigner travellers. However, we will make you know and do the rest for you once your tour is confirmed with us. The most important thing is to get your original Tibet travel permit which we will send to your hotel or city, where you might first-arrive in China.

What is the trip cancellation policy

You must contact us before 25 days ahead of your scheduled tour for a full refund. Within 25 days you will assess a $250 termination fee. There are no refunds for cancellations within 36 hours of your tour, or if you decide not to show up. Please refer our Terms & Conditions.

Do i have to make a reservation or just show up?

Yes. Reservations are required for guaranteed spots on all Tibet tours. Reservations help us determine the arrangement we need to ensure our clients remain manageable and enjoyable, and they allow us to notify you of changes to the tour due to anything that could disturb the tour.

Do Amdo and Kham Tibet need a permit?

With the exception of travel in the Tibet Autonomous Region, the Amdo and Kham regions of Sichuan, Gansu, Yunnan, and Qinghai, do not require special travel permits. Any Chinese visa is acceptable. However, certain parts of these regions are occasionally inaccessible. Please contact us for up-to-date information on travel in Tibetan cultural areas outside of the TAR. Read about Tibet permit.
