“The twists and turns of your life can be so unexpected, and that’s a good thing to learn.”
Christina Baker Kline
Funny how adventures often run in with the unexpected. Carefully plotting my course roadmap over the last four years, working on earning a Digital Assets Certificate in addition to my MLIS, my class selections became more focused on the Leadership and Data Science pathways.
Although librarianship will always be core to my experience, through engaging on my journey, I have come to realize that I have a passion for Information Science. Out of a spirit of continuous pursuit to develop my skills and knowledge in the realm of Information, and a dedication to the study thereof, this info-ologist was created.
As an info-ologist, I connect the dots to maintain order amidst chaos. Keeping the data managed and executives supported is my specialty. Extensive leadership experience and creative expertise orchestrating special projects allows me unique insight to unearth the harmony of any organization.
We are in the Information Age and Information itself is prolific; it surrounds and informs us in almost every aspect of modern life. With the myriad of skills, experiences, and competencies I have learned through the SJSU MLIS program, I feel confident that I am prepared to take on whatever this new and exciting Age has to offer.
Where the magic happened at my local coffee house, Dam Roast House & Browder Bookstore.
