Joan Marie, also known as "Your Female Engineer" has a following of over 69.1 thousand on Instagram. Joan is a lead aerospace integration engineer at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. She wants to not only promote women in STEM, but empower women of minorities.
In one of her Instagram posts from December 1st, 2021, Joan wrote "My one and only goal is to show representation in STEM. I want young girls to look at pictures of incredible women working on everything from rockets to analysis to jet engines".
