Venue

The workshop will be held at Hotel Giò, a four stars Hotel located at walking distance from both the wonderful historic center of Perugia and the University. Perugia is a universitary city, located in the Umbria Region, the "green heart" of Italy.

A special room rate will be applied for the participants to the Workshop. Detailed information will be available in June 2018.

Perugia is located in the Umbria Dictrict (Central Italy),

about 170 Km north of from Rome and 150 km south of Florence.

By plane

The most suitable Italian airport for delegates coming from overseas countries is the Intercontinental Rome Airport (Aeroporto di Roma Fiumicino, “Leonardo da Vinci Airport”).

Otherwise, one can use the Airport of Florence.

To reach Perugia from Rome:

By car

From Rome, take the A1 Motorway and go out at the Orte exit. Then take the E45 Motorway to the Perugia exit.

By train

From the train station located inside the airport of Fiumicino, you can take the “Leonardo express” (departures every 30 minutes) to the Rome Central Railway Station (Roma Termini). From Roma Termini you find the trains to Perugia (departures about every hour, duration about 3 hours. For some runs, directed from Rome to ANcona, you must change train in Foligno to reach Perugia).
