About
The Google Cloud Advanced Computing Community will be hosting a hands-on community workshop, partner workshop, and reception at ISC 2025, hosted in the Google Office in Hamburg, Germany! Our community is welcome to attend either portion, or both, and partners are encouraged to attend the partner workshop.
Tuesday (June 10th) morning we will begin a community workshop to introduce Google Cloud's offerings for scientific and technical computing, including hands-on labs, and concluding with lunch.
Thursday afternoon we will host a partner workshop where we will invite new and existing partners to network over lunch, followed by talks from Google's Adnan Khaleel and others on the latest and greatest in advanced computing technology from Google Cloud, and about how we work with our partners to help our customers grow.
Thursday evening we will host an open-invite reception with professional networking, food and drinks, preceded by a partner workshop.

Jay Boisseau
Advanced Computing Strategist, Google Cloud
Jay Boisseau is a recognized leader and strategist in advanced computing technologies, bringing over 30 years of experience across academia and industry. He is CEO and co-founder of Vizias, a company specializing in high-performance computing (HPC), artificial intelligence (AI), technology community building, and outreach. Vizias partners with organizations like Google, Dell Technologies, and the Austin AI Alliance. Jay is also the founder and executive director of the Austin Forum on Technology & Society, a leading monthly tech engagement event series. He also founded and serves on the board of directors of the Austin AI Alliance, providing strategic leadership. Prior to Vizias, Jay was an HPC & AI Technology Strategist at Dell, developing solutions for diverse clients and leading the Dell HPC Community. He also founded and directed the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) at UT Austin, deploying world-class supercomputers for scientific research. Jay holds a PhD in Astronomy from UT Austin.
Wyatt Gorman
Product Manager, HPC, Google Cloud
Wyatt is a Product Manager for High Performance Computing at Google Cloud. In this role, he leads the development, launch, and landing of next-generation HPC solutions. Previously a Solutions Manager for HPC and AI Infrastructure, Wyatt brings a background in distributed computing and HPC to define product vision, create compelling narratives, and drive the creation of innovative product experiences. He collaborates with engineering and cross-functional teams to solve customer problems and shape the HPC product roadmap.

Bill Magro
Director and Chief Technologist, High Performance Computing, Google Cloud
William (Bill) Magro is Chief Technologist for High Performance Computing at Google, where he drives HPC strategy and customer success for Google Cloud. Magro joined Google in 2020, after 20 years at Intel, where he was Intel Fellow and Chief Technologist for HPC. There, he served as a key strategist and driver for Intel’s HPC business, with a focus on software, solutions, and emerging technologies and trends, including HPC/Cloud and Exascale Computing.
A recognized leader in the InfiniBand industry, Magro helped found the OpenFabrics Alliance and served as InfiniBand Trade Association Technical Working Group co-chair from 2007-2020. Magro has been a prominent voice in the HPC community for over two decades and regularly participates and presents in HPC conferences, advisory boards, and panels.
He joined Intel in 2000 with the acquisition of Kuck & Associates Inc. (KAI). Prior to KAI, Magro spent 3 years as a post-doctoral fellow and staff member at the Cornell Theory Center at Cornell University. He holds a bachelor's degree in applied and engineering physics from Cornell University and a master's degree and Ph.D. in physics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Santosh Erram is Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at DataDirect Networks (DDN). In this role, he leads global strategy and ecosystem engagement across AI, high-performance computing (HPC), and cloud-native data platforms. Santosh works closely with partners including NVIDIA, leading cloud providers, and AI infrastructure companies to accelerate the adoption of scalable data systems that power next-generation AI and data-intensive workloads.
Raphael Chocron
Senior Alliances Manager, NVIDIA
Raphael Chocron is a seasoned Senior Alliances Manager at NVIDIA, with over 20 years of experience in the IT and Data Center industry. He has led several partnerships with Global OEMs and Strategic Partners.
At NVIDIA, Raphael focuses on advancing alliances that support the company’s leadership in AI, accelerated computing, and next-generation infrastructure. With deep industry insight and a global perspective, he speaks passionately about the transformative role of AI in reshaping IT strategies, partner models, and business outcomes.
