About the Session
Whether you prefer the surgical precision of the terminal or the immersive flow of a modern workspace, Google’s AI tools offer powerful ways to accelerate application development. This session explores the dual approach to building technical software using the Gemini CLI and Antigravity. While both tools can handle the heavy lifting of code generation, debugging, and refactoring, they offer fundamentally different experiences.
We will demonstrate how the Gemini CLI brings AI intelligence directly into your existing shell environment, making it ideal for developers who value scriptability and a "command-and-control" workflow. In contrast, we’ll look at Antigravity as a specialized, agent-centric environment designed for holistic project management and persistent collaboration. Join us to see how both tools can be used to build complex applications, understand their unique focus areas, and discover which approach—or combination of both—best suits your specific research and engineering needs.
