About the Workshop

With recent advancements in High-Performance Computing infrastructure and AI, Google Cloud is built to be the most capable platform for accelerating complex risk modeling, portfolio optimization, and market simulation workflows.

Annie Ma-Weaver
Group Product Manager, Google Cloud
Annie Ma-Weaver is a Group PM for HPC and works to build products and solutions to enable scientists, researchers and engineers to run HPC workloads on Google Cloud. She has been with Google for 16+ years in roles including Chief of Staff, Strategy and BD. Before Google, Annie conducted behavioral economics research at Columbia Business School, worked in investment banking in Hong Kong and consulted for the Scottish government. Annie received an MBA from the Haas School of Business and a BA in Economics and Psychology from Columbia University.
Kumaran Venkatesan
Senior Product Manager, Google DeepMind
Kumaran Venkatesan is a Senior Product Manager at Google DeepMind, where he leads the Applied AI team for Financial Services and Capital Markets. He focuses on advancing frontier AI capabilities by partnering with industry leaders to solve complex, unsolved problems. Prior to this role, he worked on Gemini model quality at Google, improving document understanding, long context, and multilingual capabilities. Before Google, he was at AWS, driving inference optimization for open-weight models and developing speech-to-text models. With 15+ years of experience, Kumaran started his career as a Machine Learning scientist before transitioning to product management to build 0 to 1 ML and AI products across large enterprises and early-stage startups.
Wyatt Gorman
Product Manager, HPC Systems and Solutions, Google Cloud
Wyatt is a Product Manager for High Performance Computing at Google Cloud. In this role, he leads the development, launch, and landing of next-generation HPC systems and solutions. Previously a Solutions Manager for HPC and AI Infrastructure, Wyatt brings a background in distributed computing and HPC to define product vision, create compelling narratives, and drive the creation of innovative product experiences. He collaborates with engineering and cross-functional teams to solve customer problems and shape the HPC product roadmap.
