The Indian Institute of Technology- Guwahati has released the admit card for JEE Advanced 2023 examination today. Registered candidates can download their JEE Adv admit cards from the official website jeeadv.ac.in.

JEE Advanced admit card 2023 is an important document that allows candidates to appear for the JEE Advanced 2023 exam. The organising institute of the JEE Advanced 2023 is IIT Guwahati. And the exam conducting authority released the JEE Advanced 2023 admit card on the official website on May 29, 2023. The candidates whose JEE Advanced application forms are successfully accepted by the examination authorities will be eligible to download the admit card from the official website till 4th June 2023. Once they download the JEE Advanced admit cards, they must cross-check their details and ensure they are accurate. Students must present the admit card in the examination hall. They should also carry an original photo identity proof issued by the government or their college IDs.

Candidates are advised to check the details mentioned in their JEE Advanced 2023 admit card and ensure everything is correct. Candidates should immediately inform the authorities, i.e., the Chairperson, JEE (Advanced) 2023, of the respective zonal coordinating IIT, if there are any discrepancies in the admit card. The admit card should be kept safely till the exams and counselling sessions are over. The admit card can be used for JEE Advanced AAT 2023 as well.

As a general rule, any person who is not a U.S. citizen or noncitizen U.S. national is subject to immigration review each time the person seeks admission to the United States from any place outside the United States. Even if you have already been admitted as a permanent resident (you have a Green Card) you are subject to review by an immigration official. If, during such review, you are determined to be inadmissible (even though you may have been admissible previously), you may be denied admission.

If you are seeking admission or parole at a port of entry you generally must have in your possession a valid and unexpired travel document (e.g. a Green Card, U.S. visa, an advance parole document) to present to the officer at the port of entry.

Travel outside of the United States may have severe consequences if you are in the process of adjusting your status (applying for a Green Card). In general, if you are seeking immigrant status (a Green Card) and depart the United States without the appropriate documentation (i.e. advance parole) you may be inadmissible to the United States upon return, or even if admitted, you may be found to have abandoned your application.

If you have been admitted as a nonimmigrant and have applied to extend the period of authorized nonimmigrant stay, or have applied to change to a different nonimmigrant status, you will automatically abandon the application if you leave the United States before USCIS makes a decision on the advance parole application. Receipt of an advance parole document does NOT prevent abandonment of the change of status or extension of stay application. Upon returning to the United States, you are likely to be denied admission if your current status has expired.

If you file Form I-131, Application for Travel Document, to request an advance parole document and depart the United States without possession of an advance parole document that is valid for the entire time you are abroad, your Form I-131 will be considered abandoned. At times, an individual may have an approved advance parole document while a second one is pending. Individuals may travel on the approved advanced parole document, provided the document is valid for the entire duration of the time abroad. The pending Form I-131 will not be considered abandoned in this situation.

If you depart the United States after accruing certain periods of unlawful presence in the United States (time spent in the United States illegally) you may be barred from admission for either three years or ten years, depending on the amount of unlawful presence an individual has accrued. Any departure from the United States may trigger this ground of inadmissibility, even if you have obtained an advance parole document.

If you are experiencing an extremely urgent situation, you may request an emergency advance parole appointment at your local field office by contacting the USCIS Contact Center. You should bring the following items to your appointment:

IIT Roorkee has released the admit card of JEE Advanced 2019 on May 20 exclusively in online mode. Joint Entrance Examination Main(JEE Main) is the joint national examination that is conducted every year by Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE). Every year, more than 10 lakh candidates appear for this examination and get admission to various NITs, IIITs and other private colleges. It is important to note that JEE Main is the qualifying exam for JEE Advanced. Only those candidates are eligible to register for IIT-JEE advanced who have qualified the JEE Main examination and are among the top 2,20,000 candidates of JEE Main. JEE Main can be given either offline or online. From 2013 to 2016, the marks obtained in the class XII school board examination were given a 40% weightage in deciding the JEE Main All India Ranks(AIRs). But in 2017, the 12th percentage was not accounted to calculate the JEE Main rank. Earlier, counselling for JEE Main was conducted through Central Seat Allocation Board(CSAB) but now officials have made changes in the counselling procedure.
