Angelique N. Dueñas ePortfolio (2025)
My name is Angelique N. Dueñas, MS, PhD and I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Education, Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University. More specifically, I am an anatomy educator - I teach anatomy and embryology to our physician assistant and medical students. As of May 2024, I have also taken on a role in our Graduate Program in Genetic Counseling - this was my impetus to apply for the Searle Fellows program, and has been the focus of my project. This project/course components were launhed in Winter 2025.
This site includes relevant materials related to my Searle Fellows participation. Please feel free to peruse, and contact me with any questions!
This page includes my Teaching Statements from prior to completing the Searle Fellows program, as well as after completing the program.
My project was a curricular re-development of embryology content for our Genetic Counseling program - this section includes details about the project, including samples of curricular material.
