1. Introduction Welcome to AdTracer ("the App"). This application is developed by Recursion Rebels ("we", "us", "our"). We take your privacy very seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.

For AdTracer to function correctly as a security and adware detection tool, we require access to certain data on your device:

• Inventory of Installed Apps (QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES):

  • What we collect: The App accesses the list of applications installed on your device.

  • Why we use it: This is the core of our functionality. We scan this list to identify applications that match known patterns of adware, spyware, or malicious behavior, and to allow you to manage your "Trusted Apps" (Whitelist).

  • Local Processing: This analysis is performed locally on your device. We do not upload your app list to any external server nor do we share this inventory with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services and Advertising

AdTracer uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

• Google AdMob:

  • The free version of the application displays ads provided by Google AdMob.

  • AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to show personalized and relevant ads.

  • If you purchase the Premium version, advertising will be disabled, and data collection for advertising purposes will cease.

• Google Play Services:

  • Used for basic functionality and application updates.

4. Payments and Subscriptions

• Google Play Billing:

  • We use the Google Play billing system to process the purchase of the Premium version (Lifetime / One-time payment).

  • We do not collect or store your financial information (credit card numbers, bank accounts). All transactions are securely processed by Google.

5. Data Security

We value your trust in providing us access to your device. We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect it. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
