Founded by ad tech veteran Scott Spencer, Ad Tech Strategists provides advisory services related to ad serving technologies, programatic advertising, trust and safety technology and process, product development, pricing, and privacy related regulations.

Scott Spencer is an entrepreneur, strategic advisor, and expert in the ad tech industry with over 25 years of experience. He is known for his innovative work on privacy and safety, his role in the development of programmatic advertising, and the founding of the Coalition for Better Ads.

At Google, Scott co-founded the Ads Privacy and Safety team, where he led the development of a wide range of privacy-related features and operations, including Google's CMP, Funding Choices, anti-fraud efforts, and policy enforcement technologies. He also played a key role in the creation of the Coalition for Better Ads, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving ad experiences online.

Prior to his work in privacy and safety, Scott developed the DoubleClick / Google Ad Exchange, which has served as the backbone for programmatic advertising. He has also managed multiple ad tech products ranging from Google Ad Manager (fka DFP) to Bid Manager. Additionally, Scott was responsible for the acquisition and integration of Falk, Invite Media, and various other companies into Google.

Scott's expertise and leadership have been widely recognized in the ad tech industry. He is a frequent speaker at industry events and has been featured in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Adweek. He was a longstanding member of the board of directors of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB).
