I am an ATEC Animation student at the University of Texas at Dallas. I began this project well over a year ago with a small group of my closest friends, wanting to tell an original story about loss, despair, and hope. What started as a small project soon transformed into the large undertaking that became Adrift and I couldn’t be more proud of our team. It has been an incredible experience working on this project with so many talented and dedicated artists. I have been humbled by my first experience as a director, and hope that our audience will connect with our story and be reminded that, even in the darkest of times, they are not alone.

I'm a recent graduate from the University of Texas at Dallas with a BA in Animation. I joined Adrift just before we began 3D production, and I’ve had a blast seeing this project go through all the stages of the pipeline. I’m super proud of all the dedication and hard work our artists put into this project, and I’m grateful for having had the opportunity to work on this short! (Shout-out to professor Oropallo for helping us keep on track of production the whole way through!)
