About

       Adrienne Munger is an artist and art educator living in Southern Maine. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Maine College of Art and Design (Portland, Maine) and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Ecology from College of the Atlantic (Bar Harbor, Maine). Adrienne believes that through art-making we deepen our lives, feel connection to others, and develop our own style and authentic voice. Adrienne explores a variety of media and is inspired by the natural environment and places & objects that hold meaning. Her art practice includes: painting, ceramics, printmaking, weaving, and punch needle embroidery. When she is not creating in the studio she's outside gardening during the warmer months or taking a nature walk. The changing of the seasons and what she is experiencing outside inform and inspire her work.
