Welcome!

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in Economics at the University of Copenhagen, affiliated with the Development Economics Research Group (DERG). 

I specialize in development, labor, and experimental economics. My research asks how beliefs, information, and public policy shape educational and occupational choices, and how policies can correct these choices when misperceptions lead to poor outcomes. More specifically, I study youth labor markets in Sub-Saharan Africa, unequal access to higher education in low-income countries, and, most recently, how geopolitical conflict between allies translates into economic retaliation by citizens. I conduct field experiments in Tanzania, online survey experiments with Danish and US citizens, and leverage large administrative data in Uganda.
