The Mathematisch Instituut will host a symposium on Tuesday, November 4th on the occasion of the retirement of professor Floske Spieksma. Floske Spieksma is Professor of Mathematics of Operations Research, specialized in stochastic optimization. This symposium is being held in celebration of her contributions to the field and the impact she has had on those she taught and mentored.
