I am an economist with a focus on public economics. I study the distributional effects of fiscal and social policies. I obtained my PhD at the University of Vigo.
I currently work as a consultant for the European Commission's Joint Research Centre on the distributional consequences of carbon pricing mechanisms.
I have previously worked at the Fiscal Policy Analysis unit of the European Commission's Joint Research Centre and at the Spanish Institute for Fiscal Studies. I have also served as a consultant for the World Bank.
