Welcome to "আদর্শ লিপি", a children's educational app developed by Zyvora.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information for users under 13 years of age and how we provide a safe and secure learning environment. We are committed to protecting children's privacy and fully complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA, 16 CFR Part 312) and Google Play Families Policy.

2. About the App

"আদর্শ লিপি" is an educational application designed specifically for children under 13 years of age. The app helps children learn alphabets and basic educational concepts in a simple, interactive, and easy-to-understand way.

The app's core learning content and features work fully offline. An internet connection is used only for limited background technical purposes — specifically, sending non-personal crash and performance data (see Section 3) — and, in the future, for displaying advertisements once enabled.

3. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information from children.

This app has no login, no account creation, and no registration of any kind. Children can use the app directly without providing any personal details whatsoever.

The only information collected is limited technical and non-personal data necessary for the proper functioning, maintenance, and improvement of the app, as described below.

Automatically Collected Technical Information

Some non-personal technical information may be collected automatically, including:

• Device type, model, and brand

• Operating system version and SDK version

• App version and build number

• App performance and usage statistics (non-personal, aggregated)

• Limited diagnostic information in the event of app errors, used solely to identify and fix technical issues

Crash and Diagnostic Data (Firebase Crashlytics)

We use Firebase Crashlytics to help us detect, diagnose, and fix technical problems in the app. When the app crashes or encounters an error, Crashlytics automatically collects:

• Crash logs and stack traces

• Device model, brand, OS version, and app version/build number (as listed above)

• The name of the screen/module the user was on at the time of the error (e.g. "Letter Quiz", "Namta Page"), used only to help us locate and fix bugs

• The app's selected language setting (e.g. Bangla/English/Arabic), used only for debugging localization issues

This data is technical in nature, is not used to identify an individual child, and is used solely for app stability and bug-fixing purposes.

App Usage Data (Firebase Analytics)

We use Firebase Analytics to understand, in an aggregated and non-personal way, how the app is used (for example, which learning modules are opened, or how often certain screens are visited), so that we can improve the app's content and design for children.

Firebase Analytics, as configured for this app:

• Does not collect the child's name, contact details, or any other directly identifying information

• Does not use the Android Advertising ID (AAID) for tracking or advertising purposes — advertising ID collection is disabled in our Firebase configuration in compliance with Google Play Families Policy

• Is not used to build behavioral profiles of individual children or to serve personalized/targeted advertising

• May use a random, non-persistent app instance identifier solely to distinguish aggregated usage counts (e.g. "how many users opened this screen"), and this identifier is not linked to any personal information

4. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following trusted third-party services that comply with Google Play Families Policy and applicable child privacy regulations:

Google Play Services

The app uses Google Play Services for core app functionality. Google Play Services may collect limited technical data necessary for app functionality and stability. This data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Firebase Crashlytics

Firebase Analytics

Used to collect non-personal, aggregated app usage statistics as described in Section 3, configured for child-directed use with advertising ID collection disabled. Google AdMob

The app has Google AdMob integrated but advertisements are not currently active or displayed to users in this version of the app. AdMob is present in the codebase for future use only. Any background technical activity by the AdMob SDK is governed solely by Google's own privacy policy and terms of service: https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543

When advertisements are enabled in a future update:

• AdMob will be configured in full child-directed mode (TAG_FOR_CHILD_DIRECTED_TREATMENT_TRUE)

• Only non-personalized, contextually appropriate ads will be served

• No behavioral profiling or targeted advertising will be used

• This Privacy Policy will be updated before ads go live, and users will be notified via an in-app notice prior to the change taking effect

• All ads displayed will be reviewed to be appropriate and safe for children under 13

5. Advertising

Advertisements are not currently shown in this version of the app. AdMob is integrated but fully disabled. When advertising is introduced in a future version, it will comply fully with Google Play Families Policy and COPPA — only non-personalized, child-safe ads will be displayed. Parents will be notified via in-app notice before any ads go live.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the app and ensure a safe experience for all users. We do not collect or store personal data from children. All limited technical data collected (including crash and analytics data) is handled securely by Google's Firebase infrastructure and is not linked to any individual user's identity.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share any personal information because we do not collect any personal information.

Limited, non-personal technical data (such as aggregated crash reports and usage statistics) may be shared only with our trusted third-party service providers (Google Play Services, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Analytics, and Google AdMob) for the sole purpose of maintaining and improving app performance and functionality, and only in compliance with COPPA, Google Play Families Policy, and applicable laws.

8. Data Retention

We do not collect or retain any personal data from children.

• Crash logs and diagnostic information (Firebase Crashlytics) are automatically retained by Google's Firebase infrastructure for a maximum of 90 days, after which they are automatically deleted. This retention and deletion is managed entirely by Google/Firebase; the app itself does not store any crash data locally or implement its own deletion process. 

• Aggregated, anonymized analytics data (Firebase Analytics) may be retained for up to 14 months, in line with Firebase's default data retention settings, for the purpose of improving app performance and content.

9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

This app does not use cookies, tracking pixels, web beacons, behavioral profiling, or any cross-app tracking technologies. No persistent identifiers are used to track children's activity over time or across services. Advertising identifier (AAID) collection is disabled for this app.

10. No Third-Party Links

This app does not contain outbound links to external websites, social media platforms, or any third-party online services. Children cannot navigate outside the app from within the app.

11. Children's Privacy and COPPA Compliance

This app is designed specifically for children under 13 years of age. We comply fully with COPPA (16 CFR Part 312) and Google Play Families Policy.

In accordance with COPPA, we confirm:

• We do not collect personal information from children under 13

• We do not require login, account creation, or registration of any kind

• We do not condition a child's participation in any activity on the disclosure of personal information

• Our use of Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics is limited to non-personal, aggregated technical and usage data, configured for child-directed apps under Google Play Families Policy

• If personal information is ever required in the future, verifiable parental consent will be obtained before any collection begins

12. Parental Rights

Parents and legal guardians have the following rights under COPPA regarding their child's information:

• Right to Review: Parents may request to review any information we may have collected (currently limited to non-personal technical/crash/usage data)

• Right to Deletion: Parents may request deletion of any data collected

• Right to Refuse: Parents may refuse further collection or use of their child's information and request that we stop collecting it

• Right to Consent: Parents will be contacted for verifiable consent before any personal data is ever collected in a future update

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date and version number. For material changes — such as changes to what data is collected or how it is used — users will be notified via an in-app notice prior to the change taking effect.
