My own adoption story was my inspiration for creating this platform. My birth mother and father made the brave and selfless decision to choose adoption, so I was adopted at birth by my wonderful parents, Patrick and Michelle. Because of that choice, I have grown up with love and amazing opportunities to follow my dreams- and that has led me here. Being a National American Miss titleholder has inspired me to create change. Adoption is often an overlooked option for parents who aren't able to provide stable lives for their babies, and there is a negative stigma around it. My goal is to raise awareness by working alongside adoption agencies, pregnancy resource centers, and my state's legislature. Ultimately, I want to help give as many kids the same love and opportunities that I have known, so that they can live the full lives that they deserve.
