Afronita, whose real name is Danita Akosua Adomaah Yeboah, is a professional Ghanaian dancer born on November 30, 2003. She hails from Cape Coast, Central Region, Ghana, and moved to the Airport Residential Area at the age of 14. Afronita began her dance career at the age of 14 and joined the Dance With Purpose (DWP) Academy in 2018. She is currently a student at the University of Ghana, Legon, studying Business Administration. Afronita has gained recognition as an award-winning dancer and was a runner-up in Britain's Got Talent 2024. She is known for her dedication to dance and has been featured in various magazines and publications. In April 2024, Afronita established the AfroStar Kids Academy to train children aged 3 to 12, including those with disabilities, demonstrating her commitment to dance education and nurturing the next generation. She actively mentors young dancers, including her Britain’s Got Talent partner Abigail, fostering inclusivity and passion in the arts. Alongside her illustrious dance career, Afronita pursues a degree in Business Administration at the University of Ghana, Legon, preparing for a future that combines arts and academics. She also studies finance and banking as a potential career transition later in life.
