A Dog's Dream LLC is a small local business in Connecticut that offers travel services for pet parents in the Connecticut and Rhode Island areas. We offer dog training, grooming for dogs and cats, pet sitting and pet photography. We take pride in our services knowing that our pets are safer and more comfortable in their own home. We are certified, licensed and insured and we are ready to meet you and your furry- friend. 

Meet the Owner

Gwen LaTour is the Founder and Owner of A Dog's Dream LLC and here's her story!

Gwen started this business in 2019 right before she started college. She knew she wanted to work with animals so she started small with dog walking, pet sitting and took one training client at a time. Then she started going to school at Animal Behavior College where she then graduated in 2022 for the Dog Obedience Program where she then became a nationally certified dog trainer. 

Her passion was to teach and care for dogs, but Gwen has quite the expertise with cats and smaller animals as well! She also went to school at Paragon School of Pet Grooming where she learned to groom dogs, and she is self taught as a cat groomer. She's been grooming since 2020 and loves making animals feel better after a nice groom. 

Gwen has also worked for a variety of kennels in the Connecticut area learning the ways of boarding, daycare, and pet sitting. Gwen loves going to clients homes and caring for their pets. Her favorite is bringing them on adventures and taking pictures and videos of all of her furry friends. 

Some of Gwen's hobbies include doing special activities and spending quality time with her dogs, photography, listening to music, and creating video content for the business. Her business is also one of her biggest hobbies, she says "work just doesn't feel like work when there is such a reward to it, this career is more like my hobby than a job."
