assuming you're using a valid adobe serial number (6 groups of 4 numbers), you have a mismatch between your installation file and serial number. ie, you can have a valid serial number, but if it's for program A and your installation file is for program B, you will see an invalid serial number message.
common mismatches are language/region (eg, serial number is for western europe and installation file is eastern europe), platform (eg, serial number is for a mac and installation file is win), license type (eg, education vs enterprise vs individual). and one of the most common is using a program installation file with a suite's serial number. eg, using a cs6 suite serial number with a photoshop cs6 installation file. that won't work even though photoshop is included in that suite. you must use the (correct) suite's installation file (and you can choose to only install one program from the suite).

So I recently purchased the new photoshop elements 2024 since i wanted to upgrade my old photoshop elements 2021. I have the program installed on my laptop and all i needed to do was to use my redemption code to get the serial number, but i was running into an issue. Everytime i try to put in the code it kept saying oops! this code dosent seem to be active. Now i thought that the person at the register forgot to scan the product over at Best Buy, so i went back and told them my issue. They got me a new photoshop elements 2024 product and i watch them scanned it before i went off. Try again, same issue like before. I look at every page in the adobe website to see if anything would help but nothing seemed to work. Went on Youtube to see if anyone solved the redemption code issue, which nobody did. I tried conntacting the virtual support which didnt help at all. I looked in every nook and cranny and came to a dead end. 4 hours later of trying to solve my issue. Now im not sure if its because i purchased elements 2021 two years ago or im being stupid and overlooking it. If anyone has the answer to my problem please let me know. Hi everyone. I recently purchased a Macbook Air, which doesn't have a disk drive. I have a photoshop elements disk with serial numbers, but obviously without anywhere to put the disk I can't install it with that. I'm wondering if there's a way to download photoshop elements with just the serial numbers. I looked everywhere for a solution and nothing has come up so far.
I just purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements yesterday directly from Adobe and installed it. I'm running a Macbook Air (2018 model) with 16GB RAM and approx 200GB free SSD hard drive space. It's running Mac OSX 10.15.2. When I try to launch Photoshop Elements, I get a screen telling me Adobe Sign-in required. I'll enter my Adobe username and password, a green check will appear next to the password which I assumes is telling me my credentials have been verified and instead of launching, it just goes back to the sign-in required screen. I've tried everything I can think of including changing my Adobe password and verifying that it works in the Adobe website, creating a new Adobe account in the sign-in screen to launch Photoshop Elements, linking my account to my Google account and trying to sign in that way. Rebooting my computer, and un-installing PSE and re-installing it. I found this article for an older version of PSE ( -elements/kb/unable-to-sign-in-photoshop-elements-12-13.html) and tried all the steps, but none of those helped either.
I tried Adobe Support again this morning had a much better experience. The support rep (Brian) was great and was able to get the issue fully resolved for me. Not sure what caused the problem, but if anyone else experiences the same issue the work around was to re-download the trial version of Adobe PSE 2020 that allows you to activate with serial number instead of signing in ( -install/kb/photoshop-elements-downloads.html). I have had some bad luck with my Macs lately and I have already used my 2 installs. Actually three. One computer crashed, another was returned to the store within 2 weeks and the one I am using now I am going to give to my son and purchase another . That will mean my 4th install. Is there a way to deacitivate adobe elements on the machines before you reformate?
