Use the Combine Files tool to merge Word, Excel, PowerPoint, audio, or video files, web pages, or existing PDFs. Acrobat lets you preview and arrange the documents and pages before creating the file. You can delete unwanted pages and move individual pages from a document anywhere among the combined pages. Acrobat converts the pages of the various files into sequential pages of a single PDF.

As the auto subtitle feature tends to chop the transcript into extremely small blocks - sometimes only two or three words long - it's necessary to go through the sequence and merge caption blocks to get the desired amount of text on screen. Normally not a problem. I select the blocks I want in the timeline and then select the 'merge captions' button in the text panel as seen below:

As you can see from this screenshot, one of the captions that is selected in the text panel is NOT one of the caption blocks selected in the timeline. When this has happened I've left those captions, gone on to finish the others in the sequence, then found that I was able to merge when I returned to the problem caption blocks later.

The bug is better described as a lack of consistency in the timeline vs Text panel selections, not in whether merge will operate or not. As you show, if the captions in the Text panel are not contiguous, merge is not available. And the problem is that even when you select two adjacent caption segments in the timeline, different segments may be selected in the Text panel.

I m working on merge policy and I would like to understand when we need to use ID Stitching None OR Private Graph and when to use merge method Dataset precedence OR Timestamp ordered, mostly how to combine them. Assuming that I have this use case:

I would look at the data, its quality, and which source is sending it to decide the right merge policy to pick. The intention should be to get the right/best data to build the 360-view of profile for the activation. I would not look for activation/segmentation to decide which merge policy to pick.

Time to time I have to merge PDF pages (pages 2-3 to one doublesized page etc). I have always done that by printing multiple pages per sheet... in my case 2 pages per sheet, but instead of printing, I have saved my work as PDF.

You're not going to like my answer but if you own Adobe Pro, you likely own a copy of MS Office for Mac or Windows. The best and easiest option that allowed a seamless merger of a two letter or legal size documents into a singe tabloid or any size document, was to use powerpoint. MS Powerpoint allowed me to copy/paste each of the letter sized scanned images onto one sheet, resize the documents, join the boarders and print the document as one full landscape document.

Adobe Experience Platform enables you to bring data fragments together from multiple sources and combine them in order to see a complete view of each of your individual customers. When bringing this data together, merge policies are the rules that Platform uses to determine how data will be prioritized and what data will be combined to create a unified view.

Using RESTful APIs or the user interface, you can create new merge policies, manage existing policies, and set a default merge policy for your organization. This document provides an overview of merge policies and the role they play within Experience Platform.

This guide requires a working understanding of several important Experience Platform features. Before following this guide and working with merge policies, please review the documentation for the following services:

Adobe Experience Platform enables you to bring data fragments together from multiple sources and combine them in order to see a complete, unified view of each of your individual customers. When bringing this data together, merge policies are the rules that Platform uses to determine how data will be prioritized and what data will be combined to create that unified view.

For example, if a customer interacts with your brand across several channels, your organization will have multiple profile fragments related to that single customer appearing in multiple datasets. When these fragments are ingested into Platform, they are merged together in order to create a single profile for that customer.

Merge policies are private to your organization, allowing you to create different policies to merge schemas in the specific ways that you need. You can also specify a default merge policy that will be used if one is not explicitly provided. See the section on default merge policies later in this document to learn more. Please note that there is a maximum of five merge policies allowed per organization.

When Dataset precedence is selected as the merge method for a merge policy, you are able to give priority to profile fragments based on the dataset from which they came. An example use case would be if your organization had information present in one dataset that is preferred or trusted over data in another dataset.

In order to create a merge policy using Dataset precedence, you must select the Profile and ExperienceEvent datasets that are included and then you can manually order the Profile datasets for precedence. Once the datasets have been selected and ordered, the top dataset will be given highest priority, the second dataset will be second-highest, and so on.

As profile records are ingested into Experience Platform, a system timestamp is obtained at the time of ingestion and added to the record. When Timestamp ordered is selected as the merge method for a merge policy, profiles are merged based on the system timestamp. In other words, merging is done based on the timestamp for when the record was ingested into Platform.

An organization can create a default merge policy for their organization to use when merging profile fragments. This allows users to easily select the default policy when performing actions in Experience Platform such as viewing customer profiles or creating audiences. In most cases, unless another merge policy is specified, the default merge policy will be used.

Each organization can create multiple merge policies related to a single XDM schema class, however they can only have one default merge policy declared for each class. For example, your organization could have a default merge policy related to the XDM Individual Profile class and a different default merge policy for a custom-built Product Inventory class.

After reading this guide you now know what merge policies are and the role they play within Experience Platform. To begin working with merge policies in the Experience Platform UI, please refer to the merge policies UI guide. To work with merge policies using the API, visit the merge policies API endpoint guide.

When I save a pdf file with a custom stamp I created the graphic in the stamp is clickable and copyable. I do not want it to be so. I want the graphic merged into the pdf file. Can anyone help me figure out how to do that?

In Adobe Illustrator, I have a file that has many dots lined up closely, so that it looks like they form a line. The ".ai" file is very large (55MB). To reduce file size, is there a way to permanently merge the dots that are lined up, so that they are one object?

Youcan combine two or more adjacent cells in the same row into a singlecell. For example, you can merge several cells horizontally to createa table heading that spans several columns. You can only merge cellsthat are in the same row.

You cannot merge the data from two cells into one cell. You canonly merge text. For example, if the header row is merged, the textis merged because these two cells are Text objects. However, ifthe body row is merged, and the cells are bound to items in thedata source, only the left most cell is retained.

The splitcells will be converted to an empty Text object or, if the originalcells were subforms, they will be converted to empty subforms. Forexample, if the merged cell was a numeric field, all the split cellswill be numeric fields.

I have the following issue. I have a normal PDF and a Adobe PDF Portfolio, aka a PDF with many PDF files in it. Now I would like to merge the "normal" PDF with the PDF Portfolio using the merge option of Apache PDFBox. Problem is, it only merges the first file of the PDF Portfolio and ignores the rest. I am using the latest version of Apache PDFBox (3.0.1).Is it in someway possible to merge all the files in a PDF Portfolio with another, normal PDF without changing or extracting the files of the portfolio? I am also open to solutions that require another Java based PDF merge tool.

The output is a PDF file that contains the full "normal_pdf" and the first file of the PDF portfolio. What in wanted to happen was, that all the files in the PDF Portfolio get merged with the normal PDF.

I was able to solve this problem by extracting all the attachements of an PDF Portfolio if they are of type PDF. Then I merge all those extracted PDFs into a new, single PDF and merge that new PDF then with the other, normal PDF I wanted to merge with in the beginning. Thanks to @KJ for helping me with the solution!

Today, the Justice Department and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) jointly issued the 2023 Merger Guidelines, which describe factors and frameworks the agencies utilize when reviewing mergers and acquisitions...

If you want to customize your merger a bit more, such as by changing the order of pages or only adding in certain parts of each PDF, you'll have to split them first. To do that, select Split when the app opens. Choose which individual pages or page ranges you want to pull out. You can save them as one PDF, or as individual PDFs.

13 July 2023: The CMA has referred the anticipated acquisition by Adobe Inc. of Figma, Inc. for an in-depth investigation, on the basis that, on the information currently available to it, it is or may be the case that this merger may be expected to result in a substantial lessening of competition within a market or markets in the United Kingdom. 2351a5e196
