I can't get Lightroom Classic to launch. When I try to I get spinning wheel while the computer thinks about it for a second then nothing happens, but Lightroom Classic shows up as a Background Process in Task Manager. This only happens with Lightroom Classic, I also have Photoshop and Lightroom (not classic) and both of those work with no issue. I have tried un-installing + reinstalling including using Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner but always with the same result (everything except Lightroom Classic works). Is anyone able to help or experienced something similar? Details below.

With Adobe, it still seems they are still having issues with hardware acceleration where the amount of GPU offloading is inconsistent.

They need to offer more granular advanced control for simply forcing GPU use rather than dealing with adobe's arbitrary white list where they won't push a card to it's full TDP unless they pretty much tested it. While everyone else will target a CUDA or OpenCL version and every card that supports the version used, will be pushed to their limits regardless of if the company tested it.

Go to lightroom.adobe.com and log in with your Adobe ID and password. Then go back to the Preferences, and click the first link showing the error in that panel. It should take you to that photo in lightroom.adobe.com. Maybe you can figure out what is wrong when you see it, but in my experience, just deleting it from the web resolves the problem. ff782bc1db
