Anyway my Idea remains valid because I need the same behavior of External Edge or Chrome that well configured open directly pdf with acrobat reader (after an auto-download). I don't want to open pdf directly in the uwgm internal chromium browser.
I'm wondering if anyone knows if there's any way to open PDFs in a PDF reader (like adobe acrobat) rather than the default of opening it as a tab in chrome. It's kind of annoying to not be able to annotate my readings for class.

You can change Chrome's settings so the PDF downloads and opens in Acrobat Reader.
