Grade 12B | ASSIGNMENT
My name is Adnan! I am one of the Mutiara Harapan Highschool Students. In this Blog, you will see some of my Articles. Hope you enjoy reading them!
Everyone has their own passion. Whether in the arts, education, and so on. And I myself am a person who really likes art and is passionate about art. For me, art is not just a hobby. Instead, art is an activity or product done by people that expresses an idea, an emotion, or more generally, a worldview.
For me, there is something about art that makes me want to create it. Looking at a piece of artwork makes me wonder how it came to be. I attempt my artistic adventures because it is all about the learning process. I have a drive for trying, even if I fail, I try again. Art has always been an interest in my life, however, I never took it seriously for some reason.
I'm always interested in art. because art has a very broad scope. We can produce works of art even in video games. I'll use the game Minecraft as an example. I used to work actively on the game's creation. In that game, we are able to construct any type of multi-block construction.
In this era, English is one of the most important subjects in school. This is because English is used internationally by people. So, English will be very important for students in the future. However, we can't let our local language disappear. So in this essay, I will tell you why we should ensure the survival of the local language.
Firstly, I will take an example from my country, Indonesia. Here, we have hundreds or even more local languages. And there is one of the reasons why most people called Indonesia unique. But as time goes on, the new generation is not used to speaking their local language. So, the worst thing that could happen is we can lose our originality.
Secondly, Our grandparents that can't speak other languages, only their local language, can't communicate with us. Not only our grandparents but most people can't speak or even understand other languages except their local language.
In conclusion, although English is necessary for global interaction, local languages cannot be ignored. Individuals and governments need to make concerted efforts to ensure their survival by compulsory teaching them in schools, making them state or local languages, conducting local business in local languages, and promoting their use.
United Nations, is an international organization that aims to maintain international peace and protect human rights. The UN was established after World War II, On 24 October 1945. That is why every October 24, they commemorated as United Nations Day. On 25 April 1945, 50 governments met in San Francisco for a conference and started drafting the UN Charter, which was adopted on 25 June 1945 and took effect on 24 October 1945, when the UN began operations. At its founding, the UN had 51 member states with the addition of South Sudan in 2011, membership is now 193, representing almost all of the world's sovereign states.
United Nations is currently composed of 193 Member States, including Indonesia. The mission and work of the United Nations are guided by the purposes and principles contained in its founding Charter. There are six languages in the UN. These are, Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish.
Why United Nations Day is important? First, it is because the United Nations is on a mission to end hunger. In 2008, the UN Food and Agriculture Organization and the European Union teamed up to implement the EU Food Facility. Through the program, the groups spent $1 billion to fight hunger in 50 different countries.
Second, The UN has given women the right to speak. The rise of women in public office and private companies all over the world in the last half-century has been a positive shift in global cultures and economies, and the UN has supported it throughout it all. And there are many other more of reasons why the United Nations is important to us.
United Nations will be celebrated every year. With United Nations, we can make the Earth become a better place for us to live.
Even though most students only have a single or two disciplines that they are passionate about, most academies now have curricula that enforce passing all subjects and courses. Numerous pupils who attended these schools were denied admission to universities only due to their poor performance in the disciplines they were unable to enroll in. However, there are certain schools that allow students to simply concentrate on the things they are passionate about, allowing them to become experts in the areas in which they are strongest and land jobs right away once they graduate.
However, several of them struggled to improve the quality of their employment. So, which is more important: studying all the disciplines, including those in which we excel and those in which we lack interest, or concentrating solely on those that thrill us and are simpler to master?
Regarding important subjects that are necessary for living, I believe that learning a variety of subjects is preferable to and more valuable than merely studying the ones we are passionate about. Most students may not understand that the subject they hate and have no interest in is important and unanticipatedly required for them to apply for the employment they have been training for since they graduated from college.
In today's globalized society, where some jobs necessitate imports, exports, or collaboration with foreigners who can only communicate with us in English, a subject like English is crucial to communication. Furthermore, a few things that did not seem to have anything to do with a college major turned out to be covered in the course's midpoint. For instance, history and mathematics are taught in art classes and majors when people believe that art solely consists of creativity, sketching, painting, and sculpture rather than memorizing precise calculations and historical events.
However, a lot of parents think kids should only concentrate on one subject until they are experts in it. Students are supposed to save more time but advance more in that topic by concentrating solely on it. By doing this, you might develop unique capabilities that make you more marketable to employers who value high-skilled abilities. When they graduate from high school, those who study in this manner might also apply for jobs.
The drawback applies to both studying all subjects and concentrating solely on one. People frequently experience tension when they can't manage to study multiple courses. People who just pay attention to one subject, however, could find their studies boring.
In conclusion, studying all disciplines may help you develop a flexible learning style, which will help you become more proficient in a variety of areas. In order to succeed in the corporate sector, we must also learn the relevant subjects. But it's also important to restrict what we should learn. By studying topics that we are passionate about, we must be able to learn effectively and significantly advance our skills.
