ICT Learning Diary
After finishing the information and communication technology (ICT) section, we will get a lot of information about the benefits of programs, websites and other software tools that are used in academic life.
The first week in the ICT section covered some digital technologies such as Padlet, moodle and Gmail. Each of them that are used for a spcecific purpose, for example, Padlet is an online tool that allows you to create interactive boards where you can share ideas and collaborate with others. Moodle is a learning management system that allows you to create and manage online courses, track student progress, and more. Personal Gmail is a free email service that helps you stay organized and communicate with others.
After that focus on Google apps such as Google Drive, Google Sheets, and Google Slides and create new youtube channels. We discussed the advantages and disadvantages of each of them. But the most useful website for me is CANVA which is used for design, posters, and social media graphics.
In the second week again we have deal with some new tools.
First of all, I learned about some great tools for online meeting. I started by learning about Zoom.us, which is a tool for video conferencing and webinars. It's a great way to connect with people from all over the world and learn from them.
Next, I learned about Google Sites, which is a free website builder. It's easy to use and allows you to customize your site to fit your needs. This will be very useful for me in the future if I need to create a website for a project or business.
Finally, I learned about effective presentation skills and presentation tips. This is an important skill to have, especially when you need to communicate your ideas effectively. By using these tools, I can better communicate with others and share my knowledge with the world.
Overall, I had a great day of learning and can't wait to start using these tools in my own work.
Third week was the great one for me becouse it covered the most important website especialy researchGate and Google scholar.
First of all i learned about Kahoot, which is a fun way to create quizzes and games for students or coworkers. It's a great way to engaging learning and fun .
Then i learned about ResearchGate, which is a social networking site for scientists and researchers. It's a great way to share research and connect with other researchers in your field.
I also learned about Google Scholar, which is a search engine for scholarly literature. It's a great way to find academic articles and papers on a variety of topics.
Finally, I learned about Google Forms, which is a tool for creating quiz, surveys and collecting data.
In the last week we completely learned the uses, advantage and disadvantage of moodle.
The last day was a great day of learning! I used Moodle, which is a really cool tool for university students and teachers. It allows you to create quizzes and assignments for your classes, which is a great way to test your knowledge and get feedback on your progress. This is really helpful for staying organized and on top of your work.
Overall, I'm really happy that I learned about Moodle. It's going to be a great tool for me to use throughout my academic career, and I'm excited to see how it can help me achieve my goals. I'm excited to see how it can help me become a better teacher.
